Danish editor confesses to thought crime

TEHRAN -- In ultra-liberal Europe, homeland and champion of 'absolute freedom of speech', an Austrian court of law has just sentenced David Irving (the British historian who had denied the extermination of the Jews by the Nazis during the Second World War) to three years in jail, solely because of the ideas that he expressed.

Fine.

Now, let us see… According to the same logic, there should be nothing wrong if Islamic countries create laws to punish those who deny or downplay the ISRAELI ATROCITIES inflicted on Palestinian civilians for the past few decades -- which are still going on… and on… and on. But what do Europeans care about that? For them, it is certainly more convenient to shift the focus to the Second World War… and let the poor Palestinians suffer and die.

According to such a law, which all Islamic countries should implement, anyone who denies the Israeli atrocities, the ferociousness of Israeli soldiers, the inhumanity of Israeli policies toward Palestinians, or the criminal acts committed by Israeli settlers on Palestinian territories should be severely punished by law, say, with prison sentences of up to ten years (like in Austria).

An interesting side note: remember Flemming Rose, the brave, fearless editor of the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten, who showed a very strong ideological commitment to the cause of freedom of speech, who therefore took the decision to publish the anti-Islamic cartoons and who, to this day, is still defending that decision? (see http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=2006 %5C02%5C20%5Cstory_20-2-2006_pg7_33)

Well, did you notice that he is ‘on leave’ now? In other words, he has been suspended from his duties. Why? Perhaps because of those anti-Islamic cartoons, you might think. NO. Absolutely not. Read on and enjoy (or, rather, cry).

The media emphasize only half of the story.

Most people seem to be still unaware of a CRUCIAL event that took place at the time when the cartoon scandal was aflame. During an interview, Flemming Rose, who was defending his decision to publish the offensive cartoons, was asked whether he would be willing to publish some Holocaust cartoons as well, like an Iranian newspaper has planned to do. To which he replied ‘yes’, that he might as well print some Holocaust cartoons. Later on the same day, Flemming Rose was compelled to change his statement, and officially announce that his newspaper would NOT publish Holocaust cartoons. But this is not all. Mr Rose was promptly suspended from his job; once again, NOT because of the anti-Islamic cartoons that spread grief and havoc around the world, but for the mere suggestion that he would consider publishing the Holocaust cartoons. Now, that’s power. That’s real power. Don’t believe that Zionist power is only strong in the United States. Open your eyes and see how powerful the Zionists are, even in Europe, and how clever and quick they are. Without creating much noise, they went straight to their target, and WITHIN HOURS the Danish editor was suspended from his job. It took Muslims some months to raise the issue of those Danish cartoons, and it seems that the Islamic world is still struggling hard to get any acknowledgement for the most basic right of not having their religion offended (let alone respected). Now, look at the Zionists. The awe-inspiring semi-invisible Zionist hand was able to instantly kill the publishing of anti-Zionist material even before it reached the point of becoming an international issue of discussion. And they succeeded. Indeed, how many people know about and discuss this?
